The American delegation from the US embassy arrived Elfasher city, the capital of North Darfur state (NDS) where they have been received by the Governor of state,Mr. Muhammad Hassan Arabi in his office this morning.
the both side held a joint meeting to discuss a number of issues related to the security, economic, and political situations in the state.
The US diplomats, who are visiting the NDS, were also reassured of the security stability, the capability of the North Darfur government and its efforts in protecting civilians following the exit of UNAMID mission by the end of this December.
The possibility of the NDS benefiting from the efforts of the American administration in providing political, economic and humanitarian support in the coming period was also on the agenda.
