Khartoum Today outlet first issue coincided with the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic all over the globe.
As we are today observing our first birthday, we view the start of our second year as the second wave of the pandemic spread, but this time there are the vaccinations which might lead to the declining of the pandemic
However, many waters run under the bridge during our first year of publication, and we tried out best to cover the ups and downs of the events in our beloved Sudan, despite the negative impacts of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and the lock-down which dominated the arena.
As we are lighting our second candle, we hope that the upcoming year will be more effective, unless we are plagued by further surges. We will start publishing in-depth analysis and conduct interviews with influential figures, besides our daily coverage of the events and promoting tolerance amid the communities.
Our editorial staff knows we still have a lot of work to do. We are, after all, still a startup. But we are also very appreciative of the tremendous support offered by our esteemed readers.
We urge our esteemed readers not to hesitate in presenting their views or comments aiming at improving the contents of their outlet.
Last, but not least, we say happy birthday KHARTOUM TODAY.
