Last Wednesday, a tribal conflict erupted between the Rizeigat and
Falata tribes, ending by killing thirty people from two sides .
The Governor of South Darfur, Major General Hisham Khaled described
the situation by tough upon the entry era , to the locality of
(Talas), and then the clash between two parties crawled to the areas
of Baleel, Hajir Tuju, Umm Quja, Abujabra, Damsu, Talas and Katila,along the neighboring areas where women and children were injured .In a statement to Khartoum Today, the Chieftain of the Rizeigat Hussein Ogail said, “These conflicts are simple and can be resolved by setting arrangements to the two tribes which have been living together from the beginning of time also the forces which had
been sent by the government to adjudicate what is going on without
tribal bias towards any party.Also ,The central government had sent 13 vehicles consisting of the
army and rapid support to South Darfur to contain the discord.
