Huge humanitarian crisis taking place at border with Egypt up to 400 buses queued at the border with 50 passengers each bus (basically all of khartoum is there) most of them people you know and have talked to and shared a meal with at some point or another, all of them rich and have money so not refugees coming to ask for help. Just trying to get away from the conflict!!! Egyptian authorities making it very difficult to allow them entry to Egypt. Many children, women, old ppl stuck there with no water, food or access to health care and reportedly an older gentleman passed away from this whole tragedy and couldn’t take it anymore. No shop or restaurant or bathrooms! Egyptians open their office at 10am or later and shut down a few hours later. Officers just sitting inside their offices with their cameras watching this unfold without a care in the world. So heart breaking to see the Egyptians degrading the Sudanese of whatever little dignity they have. It is shameful. It is wrong. It’s terrible and even worse now that the bombing that was taking place. Everyone needs to hear about this and the media need to get there. My cousin told me all this by phone as he got there today and he couldn’t get himself to take photos coz it’s simply a horrible scene but the world needs to see this. Please share
