SUDAN’S TSC LEADER RENEWS COMMITMENT TO ENFORCE OBLIGATIONS OF TRANSITIONAL PERIOD

The leader of Sudan’s Transitional Military Council (TMC), Lt-Gen Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan, affirmed that adhering to the principles of the glorious December revolution in freedom, peace and justice, in words and deeds, is the proper way to cross the transitional period towards democracy and the foundations of good governance and building a state of citizenship in which all enjoy equal rights.
In a speech on Saturday evening on the occasion of conclusion of Ramadan , he renewed government commitment to protect the glorious revolution of the people and to fully implement the requirements of the transitional period in order to achieve these principles.
He said that the dangers threatening the homeland and the citizen are multiple, and the most serious of them is the Coronavirus pandemic, which requires that all commit to protecting our dear homeland and our honorable citizens by following what our national duty dictates to us and what the official authorities provide us with advice and directives. The future of the homeland and the lives of citizens are in our hands.
