The leader of National Umma Party, AlSadig AlMahdi has sharply criticised Stance of US adminstration over USS Cole bombing compensation “With reference to the statement of the Assistant US Secretary of State for African Affairs, I say that charging free Sudan fines for the crimes of the former regime is a great injustice. We ourselves are victims of that system, and gross injustice for the victims to be fined is the payment of fines due to the crimes ” said AlMahdi He added on his speech on the occasion of Eid Alfitr Sunday that any attempt to pressure the Sudan of the revolution by paying the fines of Sudan, the sponsors of terrorism, is costing Sudan beyond its capacity, and contributes to the depletion of transitional rule in Sudan. AlMahdi has acknowledge that the victims have compensation rights that the United States can take from the fines paid by banks that were punished for dealing with the former regime, or from the money of terrorist sponsors and those who have recaptured the governance by force in Sudan, but the attempt to drain Sudan’s democracy is an unjust approach and the difference between the oppressor and the oppressed is unfair and do not differentiate between the vitctim and the Criminal .
