The world was fascinated and ignited by Sudanese outrage over a four-month immolation of streets across Sudan on Dec. 19, 2019. The roots of their discontent did lie in a number of aspects of life. Those people spoke with one voice about the corruption of the Islamist state in Sudan, its inability to deliver public services, and the lack of equality of opportunity. They particularly complained about repression and the absence of political rights. What utter irony that these rights were dolls in control of who had no chance to triumph and will be always remembered as spooky characters from an absurd movie. It is stated that hatred always comes out from obnoxious, and it will come back to them. So, the masses remunerated the abhorrent regime by expelling it from power and installing new software that is compatible with their brains.
Alla (SWT) has given Sudan everything, but the dukes of hazard deprived him from everything- only the River Nile has remained! After they were superseded, they are right now trying to fount dragon’s teeth to suck the propitious signs of the good and spirit out of the revolution. In their last dog days, they got astray and launched over their seiners for “spare change” flouting our dignity, like a cuckold, without getting ashamed- end justifies the mean!
Nature makes us poor only when we want necessaries. Development is vested in conscience and human’s thoughts and from the perspective of “Who ever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage.”, we come up with that value is embedded in these thoughts, and actions are connected with the magnitude of someone’s thought. You can see how poor ideas we used to generate! That is why Sudan is poor because it was ruled by narrow elite that organized society for their own benefit at the expense of vast mass of people. Political power was narrowly concentrated, and was used to create great wealth for those who possessed it, such an over 70% of the national budget was prescribed for security and defense affairs, and at the same time some Sudanese areas are occupied by foreign armies. The rest went for coaxing rebellions to cease fire and to join the Presidential Palace to assist the president.
The revolution has brought a new lease of life and a breath of fresh air to Sudanese to think positively, taking into consideration countries became rich because their citizens overthrew the elites who controlled power and created a society where political rights were much more broadly distributed, where the government was accountable and responsive to them. We should develop a sense of proceeding obligations over rights from families; as a family is a group of people, just as a nation is a group of families and if the group has decisive goals there is no more group. What Sudan really needs is a stern and demanding father, who has first fed and bred his family on piety foundation.
Leading a civil life is a thorny task surrounded by challenges and it requires conscience, and people have to step forward responsibility for the society they live in and empowered to take it for their neighborhood. As actions speak louder than words, we would like to see sound initiatives assigned by social activists stumble on civil society strategy to set a direction for the government policy. This strategy should not be focused on what the government thinks the society should do, yet it should set out how the state can support and enable civil society to achieve its potential. The awaited–for strategy should be independent of the government and be complemented by its strategy on tackling loneliness, which will delineate how we will support strong connections among people.
This revolution government is a government with evolution economic plan; its plan is not only to end evils, such as privilege, tyranny, and war by direct actions, but also to seek out and remove their causes. Actually, ending up these evils will breathe a sigh of relief and extinguish the burning coal of glowing grudge in Sudanese hearts.
The economic trajectory should cope with the aspirations of masses, which are already exhibited by the civil society strategy. It is a ball in economist’s court, they have to quest for the best- admonishing through extractive or inclusive theory, and it is their business since the layman is looking for welfare and growth.
In sum, having raised our awareness and trusted back-benchers, the government will work with and support society strategy and act with primary purposes of creating values in the future in order for us to build a country that works for everyone!
