Security authorities arrested the head of the National Congress Party in Khartoum State, Anas Omer, from his home in Khartoum.
Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported the arrest of Anas Omar, noting that the judicial agencies would undertake an investigation with him on a number of charges against him without disclosing them.
