By the acceptance of Al-Badawi’s resignation, Sudan lost the last chance of economic reform which aims at achieving economic stability.
Now, the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC)and those who repeatedly criticized Al-Badawi shout be prepared for difficult times.
The FFC crew should face the bitter reality which Al-Badawi clarified to them when they were believing on out-of-date visions.
They should confront a gloomy economic reality after the resignation of Al-Badawi and his economic plans which he started to become the spearhed of the economic reform.
It is true that Al-Badawi lost the battle of his existence in the Ministry of Finance , but at the same time he won the war of economic reform.
Obviously, the economic reform was a ghost which all the successive ministers of finance were fearing to have an approach to,
Only Al-Badawi is the one who laid the foundation of the economic reform.
The economic reform is a continuous process that requires patience, and accordingly Al-Badawi started his economic reform with activating his emergency programme at the same time.
The FFC crew who were fearing the ghost of the economic reform will find themselves face-to-face with the economic collapse.
Some will describe Al-Badawi as a failure, but those did not have the ability to read the Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS) reports or the core of the structural defects of our national economy. They don’t even know the meaning of economic reform.
The FFC crew will replace Al-Badawi with other official and after short time they will also describe the newly appointed minister as failure because they don’t want to see the economic reform path which is tough and requires patience and courage.
Al-Badawi will go to run his own businesses and activities. He might also return to work in the international financial agencies, nd one day the FFC crew will go in search for him in those agencies to ask his expertise.
