Kordofan Path for Development and Justice Spokesperson, Abdul Rahim Abdallah stated to Khartoum Today that Kordofan Path was following the developments on Juba peace talks since long time.
He reiterated their keenness to achieving comprehensive and just peace to include all the Sudanese without exclusion, pots importance pointing out to the negligence of the government to Kordofan Path as an essential component than other paths which are involved in the talks
He disclosed that the transitional government should distance itself from the issue that might weaken the national spirits and unity, adding that Kordofan is the most place that reflects the national unity.
“The region was under the marginalization zone since independence, and we call for removing the marginalization and injustice from the region through endorsing it as partner in the ongoing talks to avoid any neagive aspects from the negligence of Kordofan Path.” he concluded.
