The Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health FMoH on Wednesday reported more deaths and new infections due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, FMoH said 13 fatalities and 135 additional cases were registered, bringing the country’s tally to 11,127, including 706 deaths.
The ministry said recoveries rose to 5,816 after 109 patients had recovered.

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed nearly 617,000 lives in 188 countries and regions since it originated in China last December.
More than 14.9 million COVID-19 cases have been reported around the world so far, with recoveries exceeding 8.4 million, according to figures compiled by the US’ Johns Hopkins University.
