The delegation of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement SPLM-N withdrew from the negotiating session that began Thursday morning between the movement and the Sudanese government, and announced its rejection of the leadership of the Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeti) for the government delegation, at the same time that the SPLM-N, which is fighting in South Kordofan and the Blue Nile, confirmed its commitment to the Juba platform and to continue the negotiation process.
The Secretary-General of the SPLM-N Ammar Amoun said in a statement that his movement’s delegation had previously submitted an official complaint to the mediation last Tuesday in which it clarified its position on the leadership of the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces and Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo (Hamidati) to the negotiating delegation of the transitional government, considering that His forces are committing heinous violations against unarmed citizens in the cities and countryside of Sudan, such as ( Port Sudan , Kasla , Gedarif , Genena , Hijir Tonu , Fata Barnu , Gerida , Um dafog, Mistrai , Lagawa – Adelanj Kadogli another areas )
Amoun also accused Hemedti’s forces of being involved in the recent (Khor al-Waral) events, and confirmed that the Rapid Support Forces are still committing violations in the areas around Dilling, as far as he affirmed the SPLM’s stance on those forces which is to condemn the actions of the Rapid Support Forces and its repeated attacks targeting Innocent and defenseless citizens, and the RSF is considered anti-citizens and peace forces, which makes its leader lack impartiality, and he is not qualified to lead the negotiation delegation.
