Societies are like gardens where you can irritate or relieve because some rose bushes have thornsand scent that affectpeople who are susceptible to asthma, and some roses have floral aromatic smell. Since gardens are the best place to find God, we need to uproot the weeds and the weeds are the sinister people in any given society. It is botanists’ challenge to genetically modify these weeds and poisonous blossoms to come up with fragrant ones. Similarly, supporters and founders of democracy identified, long time ago, three kinds of people in any given society.
Islamist persecution has converted most of Sudanese society to “gullible” people, and it has been characterized by being idle, passive, lazy, extravagant, and reckoning to easy-going life. It is waiting for the government to do everything for him, and to appoint a tea-maker for every individual! The word “gullible” here does not apply to the dictionary meaning, and does not refer to a person who is mentally deficient. Rather, it means in this context someone who is an entirely private, self-centered, and selfish person. This kind of people in society is always out for his personal revenue and personal interest; S/he does not have selflessness and public qualities; he also lacks skills and knowledge to deal with the rest of society, and heis not able to live and contribute to flourishing community. Moreover, he devotes allhis personal pleasure and treasure for himself and his relatives, and the others are inferno. Such a twerp person never shags out making fortune, by hook or crook. This can noticeably be seen in the areas of gold rush where the trend of impecuniousness significantly has been going up; while the trend of collaboration dramatically is plummeting What a thickened barbarian!
Tribalism is a prominent feature of Sudanese community; tribespeople, who do not belong to a certain tribe, are those who have a tribal and tribalistic mentality, and characterized by being fanatical and bigoted people. Those people are not able to think far beyond their flesh and bones. They never believe in diversity and their God is being attributed to theirtribe. They are always afraid of things that are different and a little alien to them; their minds are capricious, suspicious, and insecure. When they are confronted with difficult situations or face different people, their reaction is always intimidated with force and violence. The best and exalted person in the tribe is the combatant, or the militant- a person who perishes more and more, that is simply because they are conflict-causing people and they never live stand still. The Qur’anic verse says, “…and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another”, it is clear, not to polish-off, or to shoot to kill. In some Sudanese tribes killing a person for a trivial reason is easier than killing a prey for satisfying one’s inanition. With sorrow! Sometime tribes’ people are still forced and deceived to apply “gullible” agenda to reenthrone their trickster monarch. The evidence is clear in the fascination between the tribes of ‘Bano Amir” and “Nuba”. Each of these tribes tries to approve that she has the ideal “warrior”. It seems most of this tribal witchcraft is concerned with Islamist’s inner struggle to take an action. These gullible mentalities make use of clannish ones to make economical conditions getting worse and worse so as to create a sense of political turmoil which pave the way for a coup de tat. Could that be? It is a twofold answer question. It could be if we grind ourselves to a halt to the mentality binary mentioned above, and it could not be when we look for a third exemplary mentality route.
Citizen person is the healer who can tame deviant individuals. In this respect, “citizen” does not mean legal or political status; it rather refers to idea and ideal of citizenship. This kind of people is someone who possesses hard and soft skills, and knowledge to live a public life and a life of civility. A civil person recognizes that he is a member of a commonwealth, and thus strives for the common good- not the idea of “I am the State and the State is Me”; that is to say, he never monopolizes the treasure of his country for his own favor letting the masses leaving a stone unturned to feed their families from hand to mouth and feigns, at the same time, he is perturbed about their living by sheeting crocodile tears. Citizen individual knows his right in the society, but also knows his responsibility to that society; thus, he affects the other individuals to act according to what he does, and the entire society moves straight forward. Not only that, this person can apply the essence of religion intentionally or not by fighting for his right with an awareness and under respect for the rights and interests of others and his neighbors of the smallest minorities and afterwards of their foes. It is the citizen who makes and makes up a civilized society because he civilizes the differences with civility since they producea civilized society; a society that genuinely lives up to the meaning the “the name society” which literary means friendship, fairness, and friendliness.
In sum, there is no doubt in my mind that the concept viceregency is totally concerned with being civilized citizens, and it completely nullifies being omnipotent to appease sectarian minds to acquiesce them to sing their melancholy tone as they are nocturnal creatures and identified to ominous raven that never dwells in the light.
