The Sudanese government and armed movements signed Friday in Juba seven protocols related to the Darfur track, and the eighth and final protocol will likely be signed tomorrow. The protocols with the Darfur track included political and security issues, namely (displaced persons, wealth and power, refugees, land and hawakir, compensation, justice and reconciliation, accountability, shepherds and nomads), in the presence of the southern mediation team headed by Counselor Tut Qalwak and mediation member Diu Matouk.
While the protocols for the two regions will be signed Saturday with the SPLM North led by Malik Agar
