SUDAN DECLARES ECONOMIC EMERGENCY, TAKES STRICT PROCEDURES

The Transitional government announced on Friday waging war against those who used to destroyed economy by stipulating new regulations to curb the inflation and to control prices of basic commodities the government also declared activation of the economic emergency and the formation of joint forces to protect the Sudanese economy, and the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning in charge Heba Ahmed Ali in speaking to journalists at the Sudan News Agency that the measures include deterrent laws to protect the economy and the announcement of emergency courts and prosecutors.
She added that the insane rise in the price of the dollar was not due to structural changes in the economy, but rather a process of sabotaging the Sudanese economy and strangling the government, and she stressed that the government will not hesitate to deter manipulators and that what has been taken to ensure the success of the plan and protect the economy
