The International Criminal Court’s prosecutor arrived in Sudan Saturday and discussed cooperation with local authorities including PM and members of severity Council and ICC in a three day visit
ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda said in press statement that The purpose of the visit which she called as very historic one .
The ICC delegation will discuss methods of cooperation between the Government of Sudan and the ICC with regard to the suspects against whom the ICC has issued arrest warrants,” read the statement, which did not name any of the suspects.

Meanwhile PM Abdalla Hamdouk stressed government keenness to achieve justice nation wide.
The ICC accused al-Bashir in 2009 and 2010 of masterminding atrocities in his campaign to crush a revolt in the Darfur region, charges he has previously denied. Two other former officials wanted by the ICC for crimes against humanity in Darfur – Ahmed Haroun and Abdel Raheem Muhammad Hussein – are also in detention in Khartoum.
