A reliable source in Allakadi in Gedarif Eastern Sudan state confirmed over two thousands Ethiopian refugees crossed Sudan’s borders fleeing from ongoing combats between Federal Army and Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF.
The source told (Tana4 Media) that Sudanese organizations and Refugees Commission Affairs observe the situation of refugees flow, expecting that the number to increase within a few coming hours due to continuous military operations in Ethiopian cities on borders with Sudan.
On the same context eyewitnesses in the town of Hamdayeit on border with Kassala that thousands of Ethiopian fled from bombing carried out by the government forces on the town of Alhambra have reached to border areas estimated by 900 people as still thousands of people wating to cross the river of Siteib inside Sudanese territories .
Sudan, which has sent more than 6,000 troops to the border, has been under pressure from the international community to help make peace and from the Ethiopian government, which seeks to cut Tigray off from the outside world.
