The governor of the Blue Nile State Abd al-Rahman Nour al-Daem died at traffic accident border while on his way to the capital, Khartoum .
The accident occurred on the road linking Khartoum to the city of Damazin, the capital of the state of Blue Nile, after the car of the governor overturned more than once, and he died instantly and his driver, bodyguard, and his son, who was accompanying him during the trip, survived .
Nour al-Daem, 59, was appointed to the post last July, among 18 others who were appointed as governors in the rest of Sudan.
