Khartoum _ The representative of women football at the Sudan foot ball association, Mirfat Hussein , has said in a press statement to khartoum today, the women in Sudan exercising different kinds of spoort since antiquity, but foot ball is extraordinary phonamena to Sudanese socity.
Mervat said a number of women has opted football exercising than others ,for their crazy fond and interest to the Game. added saying, Al-tahadi team was the first women foot ball team, established in 20002, as comboni school the head office and play yard to menage the team ‘s activities .
She disclosed that the Sudan foot ball association has accredited twenty-two , women team and fourteen- female coaches holding Sudan foot ball trainng liscen, till the year 2020.
Mervat indicated that the women foot ball team has participated in local competition ,and never play in an international league because FIFA does not orgnize a particular and continental champions to women .
She affirmed that the Sudan football assosication has prepared list of women team represents Sudan in foreign foot ball champions, the player don’t gather due to the Coronavirus pendemic that hit the whole world .
Mervat has concluded that the women football exercising assigns of gender liberation in Sudan dispute of cultural challenges of Sudanese community.
