The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdalla Omar Bashir, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, Monday, informing the international and regional organizations accredited in Sudan about the developments in the security situation in Darfur.
The Undersecretary praised the role played by the organizations in supporting the people of the Darfur region to achieve security and stability, pointing to the need to establish security in Darfur so that the organizations can play the required role, noting the need to support Sudan in this transitional period until it is overcome peacefully. The enlightenment dealt with eight points, the most important of which was the reference to the visit of the President of the Sovereignty Council to the Darfur region on February 2 and 3 to discuss the file of security arrangements before February 9, 2022, and the implementation of joint campaigns after the departure of these forces outside the cities. Bashir stressed not to tolerate any activities led by the non-signatory movements, such as looting, looting and any other illegal activities .
