Elfasher- (11) suspected people with Coronavirus are being isolated in a quarantine which is nearby Zamzam’s IDP’s camp ,15KM south Elfasher city ,the capital of the North Darfur State,(NDS).
Some of eleven quarantined people, who have arrived today from Khartoum , had contacted with a patient who tested positive with the virus , the director general of the ministry of health and social development said to the reporters .
Dr. Suleiman Adam Idres , the head of supreme coordination committee for combating the coronavirus in (NDS) , has chaired the meeting of the committee, where the several issues related to the pandemic were discussed, beside to precautionary measures which are followed to prevent the disease from spreading in the state.
Idres also mentioned that the suspected patients were applied the world health protocol by admitting into the quarantine for fourteen days to emphasis whether or not have the virus .
To ensure the safety of those isolated and to provide them with all the necessarily needs, the director general of health pointed out that the committee directed to set up a mini committee to enhance the site guarding operations.
He also stressed the importance of precautionary measures along the neighboring borders to hinder the outbreak from getting inside the country .
Last week ,we paid a flying visit to Alteena and Almalah localities on Sudanes border to stand on the field to assess the general situation entirely in the isolation sites, the quarantines ,in addition to ban the infiltrating from neighboring countries to enter our land , he said .
We watch out closely all the procedures taken to close all the passageways to protect Sudan from the corona outbreak.
