A police first lieutenant, Mohammed Almoustafa Abdorhaman and a truck driver have been killed on the Khartoum-Bara highway on Monday by armed highwaymen who hit with a hail of bullets at the truck where anther man also critically injured .
The murdered were moved to Elobaid hospital but they had already died at the scene of the crime.
The police of North Kordofan state said that they sent a company of police to catch the perpetrators in order to bring them to the prosecution.
The police officer,who works at civil registration headquarters in North Darfur state, was travelling back from Khartoum to his homeland Elfasher city the capital of North Darfur state.
