KH-Elfasher,The supreme coordination committee for combating the coronavirus (SCCCC)in North Darfur state has declared in it’s periodical meeting held on Tuesday, the closure of the state within (72hrs) to limit the spread of the Covid19.
The director general of health and social development,and the head of (SCCCC), Dr. Sulieman Adam Idris, said the status quo calls for urgently applying further preventive measures to face the threat of the pandemic .
18 localities of the state have been given a notice of these newly measures in order to be prepared ,as we are considering the imposing of curfew in the whole state , Idris added.
He appealed to all the NDS citizens to collaborate with the concerned authorities to apply the decisions on the ground for public health safety.
He also expressed his appreciation to financial support initiative launched by the NDS sons association in Saudi Arabia for fighting against the coronavirus.
It recalls to mind that the NDS has reported on Sunday (11) suspected cases of the virus .
