SUDAN’S EMPOWERMENT REMOVAL COMMITTEE TERMINATES GRAND HOLOLIDAY VILLA HOTEL, RESTORES PROPERTIES

The Sudanese Empowerment Removal Committee of ousted regime has terminated the contract and devolve the Grand Hotel Holiday Villa (the Grand Hotel) to the Ministry of Finance. The hotel contains 160 rooms that were leased to a foreign company in Sudanese pounds local currency and the company did not work on its rehabilitation.
The committee issued a decision to terminate the contracts of SAS Company for operating airports and Khartoum International Airport for the operation of lounges and the departure lounge cafeteria.
The Commission has also issued a decision according to which it restored real estate from the owners as follows: Abdullah Hassan Al-Bashir, Al-Baqir, about 21 acres and 750 meters in Kafuri from Mohammed Hassan Al-Bashir, and the piece 550 meters in Kafouri from Abdullah Hassan Al-Bashir and his family members, in addition to a piece of 550 square meters from a friend of Hassan Al-Bashir and a number of lands of thousands of square metres
