The Supreme Committee for Health Emergency announced on Sunday submitted a recommendation to the Security and Defense Council to extend the total lockdown for a period of two weeks due to rapid increase of ICoronavirus cases .
The Chairman of committee Siddig Tawor said in statements on the platform of fighting Coronavirus on Sunday that the Supreme Committee for Emergency met to follow up the the pandemic and stopped at the general situation of the spread of the epidemic and the following precautionary measures in all states, added that the committee noted that more than 80% of cases in Khartoum state, Pointing out that the committee believed that the measures taken in limiting the large spread due to the precautionary measures and restrict tov the movement of the people among the states .
