Embryo life cycle involves periodical acceleration and transformations; these stages do not exist in layman’s subconscious mind as he only believes in seeing a frog croaks, while for a zoologist things go slowly and normally for a time and nothing seems to panic until suddenly the eggshell cracks and the tadpole’s tail shrinks away. Although the signs of the frog development from egg, larva, and adult is less clear for the ordinary people, the function of change and transition is the same for the public and clear enough for the entrusted cabinet men of state.
Lack of self-knowledge is natural in the living creatures, but in humans is a moral blemish. To have a new beginning we need to acknowledge we are not knowledgeable enough. This beginning cannot be seen impressive at a time. Once Milton said “The mind is its own place and in itself can make a hell of heaven or a heaven of hell”. Unfortunately, this master weaver which had to create our own paradise (inner character) and our outer circumstances was raped for a long time; our inner character was negatively oriented to fear the fresh air and was forced to split its outer circumstances. Noble thoughts that make a noble person were strictly prohibited; only negative ones that hammered out a miserable one were possible. This binary had, of course, to be divorced because circumstances do not make a person, but reveal him, and each set of them offers a unique opportunity for growth and the country development, actually this is not in the scope of a raped mind.
To be honest, we, Sudanese, have broken the rule of “Once beaten twice shy” by willing to adopt a sobering aspect of life, and there is no one else to blame for our political and social predicament except ourselves. However, most of us are worried to improve our living conditions, but we are not keen to improve ourselves from the inner most and therefore remain bound to being indifferent and theorizing about everything- empty vessels make a loud noise! The bill of prosperity and welfare is being workaholic and cannot sign when we are still stuck in our old fashion. Bearing in mind, a successful nation is one which is most efficient and processing failure. Could we admit our mistakes and short comings?!
Though the interim authority performance is below the expectations of the masses, it will win the race, yet we have to apprehend low expectations make for pleasant surprises. That is why from the very beginning it set out realistic objectives and it did not promise us to make our lives a sort of Disneyland of fulfilled aspirations. So, it is better for us to find ways in which we can be productively unhappy. For the time being, suffering is a benign symptom that acts as rituals passage, it demystifies the idea that the art of living is not about a luxurious life style, but about locating worth and meaning despair your circumstances rather than through them. Seen this way, productive discontentment turns to be gradual and quiet a good path to approach life.
Foreign aid is not a perspicacious strategy to build up a rich and a pauper country at the same time. Having foreign relationship is inevitable; fortunately, it is running very smooth, unlike the past traditions in which it was an opportunity to bare our soul to other countries. To keep a friend country and to get the most out of its favor, it has to be the talking, and the mutual pragmatic- based relationship should be light-hearted, and non intellectual conversation is a potency to amuse that country and makes it special. What can be gleaned by getting a grasp of “sorrow arises from what is dear as does fear” is to have lower expectations of your friends, and generally not to depend on them for your happiness and success.
By nature, change and transition are not palatable to man even among religions, exactly the very swift ones because they descend on us unexpectedly. All transitions have their patterns, which if acknowledged would make tough times more comprehensible. A transition gets us to see the process of undermining and disorganization, this cycle is very natural, but admitting it to ourselves, and looking closely at the process, will make the inevitable times of change easier to deal with. It clears the ground for new growth since we cannot be the same person doing the same thing all our life; we have to pave an immediate niche for it and let it pass from one person to another so as for fortune to appear- move on and it will be an exciting time.
In sum, after black cloud, there is clear weather. Surmounting these limbo times, freshening with our insights is essential, and not to be disheartened when things do not move as quickly as you expect them to be. Slow, but sure win the race.
