,The Sudanese Aviation announced on Sunday that Khartoum airport’s closure of air flights had been extended for another two weeks.
According to the Sudanese News Agency, “SUNA”, a spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority said that “the renewal of the closure will start from 02:00 AM on Sunday, and will continue until 02:00 AM of Sunday, July 12.”
He added that the decision excluded evacuation flights for Sudanese stranded abroad, scheduled and additional cargo trips, humanitarian aid trips, and technical and humanitarian support.
He continued, “He also excluded trips from companies operating in the oil fields and evacuation trips of foreign nationals from Sudan.”
