Ousted President Omer Al Bashir has appeared Sunday, before the Empowerment Dismantling and Recovering the Stolen Funds in order to be investigated on cases opened against him.
He will be subject to questions about the funds which he was receiving as petty cash during his term of rule. Al Bashir declined to give any information.
It is to be noted that the special court had office is located at the buildings of the legislative council of Khartoum state in Al-Gumhouria Avenue.
In press conference, last month, the committee revealed a special account from the presidency under the name of Omer Al Bashir to which funds were remitted starting from US$20 million monthly and then started to be less then that in the recent years.
