DEPUTY AMBASSADOR OF EU TO SUDAN MEET WITH SUDANESE ACTORS OVER SECURITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTS

Mr. Daniel Weiss, the Deputy Ambassador of the European Union’s Delegation and the Head of the Political and Press Section started his mission in Khartoum by meeting a number of Sudanese politicians, representatives of civil society organizations and human rights defenders. The aim of his meetings was to get acquainted with the political, security and economic developments in Sudan and to keep the European Union and its twenty-seven member states updated on the transition process. The European Union’s dialogue with the different Sudanese groups will establish for a positive European role in supporting a peaceful transitional period which requires continued reforms improvement the living conditions of all Sudanese and to achieve the goals of the revolution: freedom, peace justice and the integration of Sudan in the international community.
