Four people including a one woman shot dead by an armed group in Jabal-amir area in Alsirafe locality in North Darfur state have been laid to rest in a mass grave Monday afternoon.
The four had been working in apiece of farm land where the armed militia rode on motorbikes and horses and opened fire at them without any reasons and ten others also were critically injured. an eye witness called Khalil Hussain said.
Thousands of mourners took the coffins from Alsirafe Hospital towards the cemetery of that town where they established the funeral of Islamic prayer before burying the dead.
The causes of bloody incident get back to the previous disputes related to agricultural lands which were occupied by ex-locality administration and sold it to others, Hussain added.
He stressed that the security forces moved towards the crime scene,however, the militia quickly fired them.
He called for arresting the culprits and bring them to justice to deescalate the tensions that could happen between the local community.
A procrastination made by the judicial authorities in ruling on the land issues and restoring back to their owners sparked this a newly bloody event. He mentioned.

It recalls to the mind this conflict developments happened after conclusion of a visit made by the federal delegation headed by a member of transitional sovereignty council, lieutenant general staff ,Ibrahim Jabir Ibrahim , who have recently flown to NDS to assess the security and service situations specially in Kutum, Fata-borno, Kabkabya,and Abo-dilake areas.
