The Sudan Minister of irrigation and water resources,prof.Yaseer Abass has sent a deliberately letter to the South Africa Minister For foreign relations and international Co-operation regarding the latest Ethiopian stance on the negotiation of great Ethiopian renaissance dom(GERD).He pointed out that the Ethiopian government has declared a new proposals which totally Contradicted with findings of the past round between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia that held on 21th ofJuly2020 under patronage of the African Union.
The Minister added the recent ethipian’s proposal will impedimate continuation of GERD Negotiations.Meanwhile, He has Affirmed Continuation of Sudan on GERD Negotiation which led by African Union as long as the partners respect the singed articles of 23th of March,2015.
Meanwhile the Sudanese and egyptian sides has announced suspension of negotiations over GERD for further consultations.
