The high committee for combating coronavirus Northern state, heading by the governor, Amal Mohamed Izzaldein, decided to lockdown the state for 10 day effects g from Wednesday.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 during last period time have rapidly increased in the state which leads to government of state to decide Lockdown.
The committee stressed to control the entrance and exit gate with Khartoum and River Nile states, the state canceled all removing license that issued from another states.
Northern state also announced Partial lockdown to all markets in the state from 6am to 12pm and people should commit with health procedures protection.
The committee also decided to prevent removing the people between different localities, and accept the emergency cases; it also demanded to raise health awareness through media.
The Government of the state gave a holiday to the worker in the institution for 10 days, and prevents gathering of people in any social events beside operation of the confirmation cases and reflects it through media.
In addition to that the committee called concerning authority to provide people with mask by lower prices, the working of the petroleum stations will work from 6 am to 2 pm, committee stressed to activate localities committee to work for combating the COVID-19
