The 8th Friends of Sudan Group Conference, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the end of its work on Wednesday, with the participation of more than 25 countries, organizations and international institutions, adopted the scheduling and forgiveness of Sudan’s debts, inviting non-participating parties to engage in the current process under way in the State of South Sudan since November 2019, and imposing sanctions on Persistent impedance.
The Minister of Information, Faisal Mohammed Saleh said that final communique of conference participants affirmed their commitment and strong desire to support the implementation of the peace process in Sudan through reconstruction, reconstruction, integration, demobilization and disarmament as well as returne of the internal displacement personnels to thier original towns .
Saleh added that the countries of Sudan’s friends threatened to impose sanctions on the Armed Movements which reject to join peace process
