UNAMID DISSMISES ARBITRARILY A BOUT 264 EMPLOYEES IN SUDAN :

The United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID),has arbitrarily terminated service of 264 employees from it’s foundation in Darfur’s region of Aljenena,Neyala,Zalinji and Alfasher,(Sudan). Over the unfair decisions, Dozens of grievance personnels have organized peacefully protest stand in front of the UNAMID Headquarter in Alfasher city, calling for their financial rights.
However,the dismissal employees did not give up for the UNAMID procrastination,and they Conducted another round of protest in the year 2019,but unfortunately a vehicle belong to UNAMID Forces has Muffled a female protester. At the same time a force belong to Sudan police arrested some protesters and put them in jail at Alfasher police station under the article of public disorder.
In related developments, the committee of UNAMID dismissal employees, Presided by Alhadi Shana,Said we have just received suddenly email from UNAMID office Noting us with end of service which contradicted with the Labour law that alert employers one Month before termination.
Hafiz Abayad , one of the terminated personnels, said that,the UNAMID has paid part of benefits but was unfair and unsatisfactory, therefore,they forward the issues to the United Nations Advisory Court (Osla), led by the advocated Nicola Washinko regarding overtime benefits. Indeed.the Court order the UNAMID to recount wages of the employees for overtime service of 2015, But the UNAMID Breached the Commitments.
Meanwhile,the Committee representative of fired empolyees in Khartoum,Chaired by Mohammed Ahmed,Said that they held a meeting with the UNAMID legal Advisor, Imanweil under the patronage of Sudan Ministry of foreign affairs .
where, the advocate of grievance Committee ,Barod Sandal, has discussed the issues of benefits of overtime and wages of extra- Night hours ,but there is no Concret results so far.
Hereof,The General Committee of UNAMID arbitrarily dismissal employees,Headed by Shana,has kindly requested the Sudan government,local and international orgnzetions,justices bodies and human rights authorities to reconsider their case for restoring all rights over the UNAMID Suddenly arbitrarily termination.
