The official spokesperson of the Sudanese government, Faisal Mohammed Salih, announced Thursday eight people were killed in Kassala state, which located in eastern part of Sudan. 7 of them are citizens and one of them belong to security forces.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors (CCSD) said that six people were killed and 20 others were injured by blunt instruments.
In two days amounted 14 people in two cities (Kassala, Readsea) because of tribal clashes between the between Beni Amer and Hadandawa tribesmen after the dismissal of Kassala governor on Tuesday.
Reason of tensions
In July, Salih Ammar was sworn in as a governor of Kassala, which borders Eritrea, but he was unable to assume his duties due to the outbreak of a tribal conflict that resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens.
On Tuesday, the government announced the exemption of the governor of Kassala from his post without naming a successor for the governor position to defuse a tribal conflict that has been going on for about three months in eastern Sudan.
The relieved governor, Ammar, criticized Hamdok’s decision saying it would hamper efforts to reconcile the different tribal components and enhance peaceful coexistence in eastern Sudan.
He disclosed he had offered his resignation “provided that the price would be peace and reconciliation”.
Ammar believed his dismissal was a “surrender to the blackmail of the remnants of the dissolved National Congress Party and the supporters of the former regime”.

Spokesman of the government lights on the current situation
The Government official spokesman ,Fisal Mohammed Salih, announced that the government three-day state of emergency declared, in the State of Kassala the situation is expected to return to normality.
Faisal stated to press by saying that “Some of the supporters of the relieved Governor rejected the decision staged procession and tried to occupy the State Government HQs and block Al-Gash Bridge” He said.
The minister explained that the protesters clashed with joint forces of the police forces, army and the Rapid Support Forces, a matter that led to killing of seven civilians and a member of the regular forces who was shot dead.
Salih has revealed that the Public Prosecution started investigations into the incidents that took place in Kassala, adding that the government carrying out contacts and dialogue to defuse tensions.
The minister outlined that the state was in continuous meetings with different parties including the different component and the Forces of Freedom and Change to defuse tensions in Kassala.
The minister attributed the occurrence of the clashes to the the repeated racial and tribal incitement, adding that the Minister heard to a report from the head of the General Intelligence Service and Military Intelligence on the incidents.
Daglo meets East Sudan Native Administration members
The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt-General, Mohammed Hadan Daglo , on Thursday, underlined that the Governors of the States will be relieved according to the Peace Agreement, announcing the formation of committees to solve the issue of Eastern Sudan on mutual consent.
Daglo said in press statements following his meeting with NativeAdministrations of East Sudan referred to the regretful incidents that took place in Kassala because of the relieving of the Governor of the State.
He directed the regular forces to impose the state’s prestige and protect the citizens, calling on the people of East Sudan to to be patient, resort to wisdom and to reject violence and racism.
“ The East Track which was signed and witnessed by wide regional and international presence, approved holding of East Sudan Consultative Conference on mutual consent and without excluding any one” Daglo stressed
