The intern physician, at Khartoum, Sudan, has conducted a partial strike at most of the governmental hospitals, since Days ago , so far Which, let to death of patients and deprived others from receiving the top health care services. As the patient admission is over than the hospital in service.
“Khartoum today on line_ newspaper”, has held a press dialogue with some patients and doctors in this connection as following:
*The doctor(x), has said the main reason of the strike, is absence of medicines and medical derives from a whole the governmental hospitals. Also, lack of back up from senior doctors , worst of the environment and public services. Added, saying different patient’s cases come to the hospital for remedy, but unfortunately we cannot start operation of treatment due to shortage of basic medicine such as drip solution, cotton, disinfection and sterile gauze. Therefore, they preferred to pose strike than folding hands, and looking at patients suffering without extending medical support.
While, The former armed officer, and lab physician, at the Armed medical Corps, Mouwafq Mohammed Al Hassan, said doctors posed strike because the Hospitals don’t provide even the fundamental drugs, for instance, gloves, cotton, gauze, injections and anesthetic medicine beside, The inconvenient of workplace, as the emergency theatre is always dirty with blood and cotton.
Dr. Moufaq, pointing out , saying The medicine is humanitarian job than materials, hereof salary never represent vital reason for strike and the private sector is best as long as they think about Overpay.
At the same time, The radiology_ deputy specialist, at Suba teaching hospital, Mohammed Ahmed Abass, has indicated that, The past days witnessed three types of strike, The first conducted By the deputies specialist and ended by signning agreement contract with government, presented by ministery of health.the second strike organized by Nurses and employees. The third one, orchestred by th intern physician because they Do not receive thier salary since eleven months till now. Saying, The ministry of Sudan health, collected doctor’s documents to reconsider issues but no any solution turns up.
Dr. Mohammed Abass concluded, noting that, the general system of health is totally deteriorated in Sudan and needs to be reformulated.
*The co-patient, Abdul quran Basher, said, my patient suffer from injuries in head and shoulder due to armed quarrling.as he escorted the patient to Al_ ban jaded hospital, at Sharq Al neel, unfortunately, he told by the guard that the hospital is blocked because of the strike. Based on, he leaded the patient to the private Sharq Aneel hospital, this after long process and patient’s suffer.
In the related development, the co-patient, Abdalla Zakarey, said, his patient suffers from total body failure beside critical abdominal pain. He leaded the patient to Bashayeer private clinic, also the clinic physician; advice to see the police _hospital is only can help you this moment especially in time of the strike.
