Pakistani Embassy in Khartoum celebrates Saturday ‘Pakistan-Sudan Day in with presence of Members of the Pak-Sudan Friendship Association, Muslim Hands, Businessmen, Media Representatives.
Charge D ‘Affairs of Islamic Republic of Pakistan , Abdul Wahid Abassi said in his speech on this occasion that Pakistan and Sudan uphold close and warm relations since Sudan’s independence in year 1956; adding that such relations are characterized with range of similarities and harmonies may it be cultural, societal or religious. The bondage two countries enjoy is time tested and the same has been
demonstrated at multiple occasions in the past. Despite confronted with manifold internal challenges; both the countries maintained firm and just stance on global, regional and domestic issues; relegating the international biasness and pressures.
Abbasi valued the efforts of incumbent government of Sudan and
Sudanese visionary leadership, which has enabled Sudan to come out of
decade long sanctions and has put on the path leading to robust economy
and prosperity in times to come.
