Khartoum- The Sudanese youth have acquainted with genius, hospitality, bravery, generosity and initiating spirit, that brought a good reputation to Sudanese people and the country as well.
Sudanese youth, like any other nations, carrying goals and plan for a bright future for their country, but unfortunately, they don’t find fertility environment to explode their talents and inspirations.
Unemployment is considered one of the biggest challenges facing young graduates in Sudan today. After graduating from colleges or Universities many youths today find it difficult to get employed, they are unable to earn living. Therefore, their dreams and aspirations becomes unclear. Consequently, Sudan youth have taken different alternative options to find their ways out of this poverty.
Some young people preferred to travel abroad, via legal ways, looking for a better and decent life. And others have opted adventure of migrating to Europe through The Mediterranean Sea, Libyan cost, Morocco, than dying of hunger and depression in Sudan.
Some turn into drug abuse and other substances as means to escape from miserable and boredom life. Also some young people afflicted with psychiatric cases due to unclear destiny in Sudan.
The truth remains that youth are the backbone of every nation, therefore, should be given a better care and harness all means to engage their manpower in the nation building process.
