The Chinese Ambassador to Sudan Ma Xinmin, expresses over the spread of cases of Covid-19 in the country, saying there is need for more cooperation to fight the disease.
Speaking to journalist at Khartoum International Airport, Wednesday, while receiving the second medical aid, which was donated by the Chinese businessman, Jack Ma, said, that coronavirus is challenging but solidarity and cooperation is the most powerful weapons to defeat the pandemic.
“We understand Sudanese need as a good friend and strategic partnership and we would like to do our best to provide assistance as much as we can” said Xinmin.
Emad Abu Raeid, who represented the Minster of Health during the reception of the medical items, stated that Chinese are faithful friend to Sudan in difficult moment. The medical donations include laboratory examinations, aids respirators, medical gloves, respirators, and Personal Protective Equipment stocks (PPES) among others.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Al-Siddiq Abdul-Aziz, Tuesday received the Ambassador of China to Khartoum, Ma Xinmin, and discussed a number of issues on the cooperation at the bilateral, regional and international levels as well as the cooperation between the two countries in combating of coronavirus pandemic.
The Undersecretary called on Chinese government to provide Sudan with medicines and medical equipment to combat coronavirus.
