Al Merrikh Sport Club has launched a national campaign to support efforts towards protection against coonavirus pandemic in sudan .
Administration of the club also decided to put the club facilities under the responsibility of health authority.
The club administration and executive management called on club fans in different specialties and all Athletes to participate in success of the campaign, the club also invited civil society and donors to cooperate in success the social activities which will be announced soon, which aimed to protect and ensure homeless children are safe during lockdown period and support medical staff with equipment and protective materials.
“This is the time to unite, cooperate for the public nterest instead of individual interest”, the club stated in press release.
The historical Sudanese soocer player Haytham Mustafa tweeted that the medical staff are the first line defence to limit the distributions of corona virus.
“Mustafa stated that the medical staff are working to fight the pandemic in very bad condition and circumstances.”
Haytham Mustafa is Sudanese soccer player, started his sport life from Bahrawi Amir Club, he transfered to Al-Hilal Club from 1995 to 2012, after that he mover to the counterpart Almerrikh club before ending his journey to Ahli Shandi club, he also played for Sudan national team.
