The Sudanese Minister of Youth and Sports was detained briefly, Monday at one of the security checkpoints within Khartoum, during the health curfew hours.
Wala Essam Al Bushi, was believed to have been denied access to her way, after approaching one of the security checkpoints in Khartoum, despite having a permission pass issued by the health task force committee.
Police authorities say, they have formed a committee to investigate the matter after Minister, Al Bushi reported the incident to the Council of Ministers.
Authorities say the Minister did not take any criminal charges against the police officer, who detained the Minister, as circulated through the social media all over.
Sudanese Police officials added that the incident will be investigated fairly, impartially and transparently in order to clarify facts.
