The South Sudanese mediation of the Sudanese peace talks announced the extension of the negotiation period until the completion of the files presented in the negotiations and the conclusion of a comprehensive peace agreement.
In an official statement signed by mediation team leader, Tut Gatluak Adviser to South Sudan President for Security Affairs, said that the extension came upon request of two negotiations teams adding that the extension will give parties a chance to complete the negotiation and to show their keeness in reaching a comprehensive peace agreement.
