The Republic of Sudan lies in North/East part of the African continent with its 43 population, 18 states and Khartoum as its capital city.
The country is distinguished by its cultural diversity as there are around 570 tribes frome different ethnics and languages.
This diversity makes Sudan a model in absorbing all those cultures including the dress, traditions, dances and even worshiping.
It is difficult to write about all those tribes and their cultures considering that they cover all parts in the country as those tribes are not isolated in only their home villages.
As an example we can speak about the Bija and Hadandawa tribes whose home villages are in Eastern Sudan. Those tribes are distinguished with their proudness of holding swards, wearing small jacket and Jalabiya, drinking black coffee and putting combs on their long hair.
Al-For and Baggara tribes main stronghold is western Sudan and they live on agriculture, shepherding and trade
We the Fonj and Al-Angasana people who live in the Blue Nile area. Those two tribes are distinguished with their dances especially in harvest seasons.
In the northern part of the country we find the Halfa, Danagla and Jaaliyeen tribes who grow dates, wheat and have their own traditions and rituals showing their braveness on enduring the pains.
Obviously Sudan is also distinguished with its religious coexistence as we find in Nuba Mountains area several churches, mosques and other worship places where people practice their religious rituals freely. You can find in one family and the same house people with different religions living in harmony as nobody interferes in the believes of his relative.
