This date last year represents a new beginning of the history of the revolution of 19 December as the strong will and determination of the Sudanese people broke all the barriers and made it clear that the night of dictatorship is about to disappear once and for all . six month the regime used all kind of brutal repression and violence to silence the voice of revolution which is crystallized obviously within three values , freedom , peace and justice ,yet some martyrs pave the way for millions of nation to enjoy this freedom this could not happen without their sacrifice and peaceful struggle to achieve the slogans of the Sudanese revolution .I think history was not only kind but also friendly with Sudan , that is why 6 April repeats itself twice , in 1985 popular uprising obliged the former regime of Gaafar Nimeri to step down and in 2019 at the same date after 34 years from the downfall of Nimeri’s regime the Sudanese political parties this time they unified under umbrella of Forces for Freedom and Change F.FC coalition which considered the largest coalition in the history of Sudan. The sit-in of army Head Quarters was one of the most inspirational phenomena as the square of sit-in was a small Sudan of diversity and pluralism inside square people treat each other like brothers and sisters of the same family that is why sit-in continue even after downfall of Al-Bashir and Ibn Awuf , because the young people were strongly believed that the only way to make the revolution well protected is through the great sit-in . Therefore the military council (was ruling the state from 11 of April till 17 of August raised fears and anger for a number of time accusing the peaceful protesters of hindering the steps of transition the issues which create turmoil between the civilians of FFC and the military institution represented by TMC . Today we celebrate this date mixed feelings without million marches without gathering because of coronvirus outbreak and it was the first time since decades Sudanese people inside and Diaspora commemorate this anniversary with total silence but the only one sure way the revolution and the commemoration 6 April sit-in will remain in the minds and the heart of generations to come . Almost eight months passed since TMC dispersed the sit-in in a fierce and brutal way and still no trial set up for this inhuman crime yet the course of justice runs very slowly as it is well-known for lawmakers justice delayed is justice denied . The major question which poses itself who is behind the dispersal of sit-in and what reasons .
