The decision of the Committee to eliminate empowerment and combat corruption in Sudan to dissolve IDO and confiscate its properties and assets sparked a wide debate between rejection and acceptance.
Some believe that the way in which the Committee removal of empowerment dealt with the Organization is not upto the level of the size of the humanitarian Aid provided by the Organization and the educational edifices that still contributes to supporting education in Sudan, Also, the Late Field Marshal Abdullrahman Suwar Al-Dhab was known for his sincerity and sincerity in work and he didn’t look like a corruption flow throughout his life.
While others see that the Foundation is one of the arms of the National Congress Party and part of its corruption it uses for its purposes and agenda, it bore questions and accusations to place points above the letters of the missing fact and to know the Organization’s status in Uganda.
I went to the Organization’s office in Kampala, which is part of the offices of Munazzamat in the Central African Region, which includes other countries such as Rwanda Burundi and Democratic republic of Congo.

I sat with him in his office and found the man speaking with great confidence supported by facts and figures. The first sentence uttered by him is that Munazzamat Aldawa AlIslamiyya in Uganda has nothing to do with what happened in Sudan and has nothing to do with the salvation government.
• THE IDEA OF ISLAMIC DAWA ORGANIZATION
Dr. Omer Mohamed Salih says that the idea of the organization came from Uganda in the seventies of the last century where Mbarak Gismalla , Mohammed Abdalla Jar Alnabi and Muhammed Alameen contributed to its establishment as they were working in the field of trade in Uganda at that time and some educated Ugandans, he indicated that it was founded in Uganda in the year 1986 . He revealed that Mr. Sadiq Almahdi, when he was the Prime Minister of Sudan at that time refused to establish Munazzamat’s office in Khartoum.
It was established in Uganda the same year and after the organization work saw the light Alsadiq Almahdi felt the scope of the Organization in Sudan in 1987, and added that the date confirms that the organization was established before the Salvation Government.
• THE COMMISSION CHARGES THE REMOVAL OF EMPOWERMENT
Dr. Omer Mohamed Salih says that the accusations of the removal of empowerment committee are incorrect and are not based on any evidence or logic. the directors do not have immunities or diplomatic passports, so a person holds only an ordinary Sudanese passport, as the organization provides a great service to Sudan, especially in the fields of education and humanitarian work, and has nothing to do with the National Congress Party, he added that Munazzamat was affected a lot from the so called the National Congress Party.
• IDO EFFORTS IN UGANDA
Dr. Omer Mohamed Salih says that the Organization has established a huge number of humanitarian and vital project, especially in the fields of education, where Munazzamat established Marriam high Secondary school which is considered one of the largest girls education institution in Uganda where large number of students graduated, and they now have experience in all fields, including employees in the banks Universities and ministries and department and contribute to the scientific and practical life in Uganda. He added that Munazzamat has established 54 schools, 12 health centers, and 12 Islamic Complexes comprising a school, a health center and a water source which uses pumps.. The organization has established 180 mosques and 3,000 surface wells, in addition to more than 15 artesian wells, In addition to thousand of productive projects for poor and venerable families which is reflected in goats cows rearing, poultry, food farming small shops , greens etc, the organization has established more than 60 permanent houses for orphans and needy families. The organization is sponsoring 1,554 orphans in Uganda. Munazzamat implements two seasonal projects for food and meat distribution for the needy and poor. In addition to whelms being given to the students interns of school fees, sick patience it terms of treatment and poor Ugandans interns of financial support.
• MUNAZZAMATS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA
Dr Omer says that the organizations relationship with the officials in Uganda has a great impact on achieving its services to those who deserve it. He added that Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni opened and commissioned four projects of the Organization, this confirms the Organizations strong relationship with the Ugandan Government.
• FUNDS OF THE ORGANIZATION
Dr. Omer mentioned that the organizations support come through benefactors from all countries of the world by focusing on foreign countries such as Qatar ,Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain , the Emirates, America , Turkey and many Ugandans contributing lands for projects. He said that the organization doesn’t differentiate between a Muslim or Christian or any other religion or faith, race or sex it provides its support to the needy people from all walks of life and it works according to Ugandan law and is registered accordingly to its terms and conditions. He concluded by saying that the Organization is still contributing to sustainable development and strives to achieve the United Nations Millennium Goals related to education ,health and water.
