Embassy of India, Khartoum celebrated on Tuesday the 72nd Republic Day of India at Embassy Residence. The tricolor was unfurled by H. E. Ambassador Shri Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal followed by playing of National Anthem. Ambassador read out President’s message to a gathering of about 100 people including NRIs, PIOs, SIFA, Indian, Sudanese and Indo-Sudanese community members, Friends of India and Embassy officers and staff.
This was followed by rendition of patriotic songs and dance by staff members and children of Indian Community. The celebrations concluded with serving of Indian snacks as refreshments.”
