The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Aisha Musa called for the unification of the women of the world because they face similar problems, which requires the search for common solutions, noting that Sudanese women began their struggle to obtain their rights.
Musa called for the participation of Sudanese women in the process of drafting the next constitution, and stressed the need to use all available resources in order for women to obtain their rights through a global network.
On her part the president of Soroptimist Khartoum Club has announced Tuesday at Grand Holiday Villa Hotel the official launching of the Club in Sudan with participation of Sovereignty Council member H.E Aisha Musa.
Dr. Sulafa Diab said that Soroptimist international was founded in 1921 in Oakland California adding that Today members and Supporters of SI are 75,000 in 130 countries across the globe . Sulafa went on to say that the Centre starts with women development and it encompasses all health, social and economic aspects. ” The mission of Soroptimist is to transfer the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.” concluded Sulafa
Meanwhile president of SI African Federation Mutunhu who was speaking via video conference urged Soroptimist Club i to care of rural woman issues .
