Sudanese Health Minister Akram Ali Altom has recommended a three weeks lockdown to confront Coronavirus in the country.
“We discussed during the Security and Defence Council’s meeting that a three weeks lockdown measure should be impose nationwide with much focus on the capital Khartoum” said the Minister.
He added that the case number 15, which was confirmed positive on Thursday, appears to have transmitted locally.
Minister Altom revealed that there strict procedures to be taken now on words to protect medical cadre from any form of aasult and violence.
The Minister added that citizens will be given grace period to purchase their basic needs before the lockdown is announced.
