On behalf of Khartoum Today on-line, Chief Editor and staff I would like to congratulate celebrationsof Embassy of India in Khartoum of the 75 anniversary of the independence of India the day marks India gained freedom from British rule on August 15, 1947.
No doubt that foundation of modern India represents a milestone of world’s second largest in population as leaders during successive periods adopt policy of building strong partnership between the two friendly nations.
Over years Sudan and India joined common history of struggle and work together towards independent decision in terms of cooperation and coordination. Relations between India and Sudan date back to ancient times .Many of Sudanese people inspired by the character of Gandhi and as one of the leader of peaceful means of resistance yet the latest revolution which started in December 2019 which its slogan (Liberty , Peace and Justice ) , these three words become the source of inspiration of the people and governments across the world .
Our country and China witnessed more than 150 years of distinguished relations that is why we see Indian companies actively work nationwide and I think we all share the same vision and values, the thing which can push us ahead to move from theory to practice.
We in Khartoum Today express our pride of the smart partnership with Embassy of India to Sudan. Our staff has good relations with Embassy staff as journalist we look forwards to enhancing this positive engagement for the interests of the two nations yet through media can bridge the gap and make every moment possible
Through our follow-up, this year also marks many shipment and flight from India to Sudan during the outbreak of coronavirus we have had an opportunity to cover these event and participated in a number of Indian embassy events organized in Khartoum.
I conclude to say that our new Sudan is open its door with world outside with friendly and sisterly countries so we are more than happy to see that Sudan-India relation witnessed prosperity and progress.
