The Sudanese government failed to announce the name of states governors as on Saturday was deadline for nomination civilian states governors according to the agreement between the ruling parterners (Forces for Freedom and Change, the cabinet ministers and the Sovereign Council).
Last week the partners agreed to accerelate the appointment of the states governors and Legislative Council without waiting for the signing peace agreement with armed movements in Juba.
The Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) was refused appointment of the states governors before achieving peace, the Prime Minister, Abdallah Hamdok called leaders of SRF and told them that such decision taken by the there ruling partners.
According to press source the SRF said in principle they are with appointment of the civilian governors in states for removal the empowerment of the outset Islamists regime and the National Congress Party (NCP).
The SRF demand to join and putting mechanism for choosing the states governors who should be under condition of Transperancy, clear standards, qualification, experience, ethic diversity, participation of women, non-partenership and the popular acceptances.
